 Health Care Reform Updates

Health Care Reform, signed into law in March 2010, has brought substantial changes to the health industry. Health insurance coverage has been expanded so that young adults can now stay on their parent’s policy until they turn 26, lifetime insurance limits have been removed, denial of coverage due to pre-existing conditions has been eliminated, preventive care services has been made more affordable, and individuals and small businesses can shop for insurance plans in a retail marketplace.

At Optima Health, we are well prepared for the changes the new laws have brought and will continue to bring over the coming years. We realize Health Care Reform can be confusing and overwhelming; we are here to help keep you up to date. Please visit optimahealth.com/healthreform often – we are constantly updating our website to ensure our members and the local communities we serve have convenient access to the latest news and information.
