Enrollment Information - How to Enroll in Benefits

Open Enrollment and/or Covered Employees With a Qualifying Life Event

For Open Enrollment or if you are an employee with a life event that qualifies you for a benefit change, please follow these instructions:

1. Sign into the Optima Health member website.
2. Click the "Enroll in Benefits" link.
3. Enter your EMPLOYER ACCESS CODE:SHP-00036777.
4. Click "Update Plans" for Open Enrollment and "Update Member" for Life Events to complete your benefit selections.

Non-Optima Health Covered Employees

If you have registered as a guest previously use that same login information. If you do not remember the information reach out to e3_inquiries@sentara.com to obtain. Do not create a new guest login.

New Plan Enrollees

If you are enrolling in your benefits with the City of Suffolk for the first time, please follow these instructions.

1. Register your account with optimahealth.com.
2. Sign into the Optima Health member website.
3. Click the "Enroll in Benefits" link.
4. Enter your EMPLOYER ACCESS CODE: SHP-00036777.
5. Complete your benefit selections.

Retirees

Retirees age 65+ enrolling in the Medicare Rx (PDP) will need to complete and return the paper enrollment form they receive in the mail to Flexible Benefit Administrators.
