Supporting Members as COVID-19 Spreads

As your partner in health, we are taking steps to protect and educate our members about the coronavirus (COVID-19) as it spreads throughout our nation.

Feel free to share our frequently asked questions and fact sheet with employees who may have prevention and coverage questions. To help reduce any potential exposure, we are waiving member copayments or coinsurances for all telehealth visits through our partner MDLIVE® through June 4, 2020. If ordered by a physician, we will cover all out-of-pocket costs associated with COVID-19 diagnostic testing at any in-network lab location.

We recommend practicing good hygiene and avoiding exposure. Follow these tips to help prevent the spread of this illness or other illnesses, including the flu:

  • wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not readily available
  • cover your cough and sneeze
  • stay home when you are sick
  • use an approved telehealth option or see your doctor if you think you are ill
