Good News Regarding Patient First
We are happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with Patient First. We recently told you that we are negotiating with Patient First to keep their centers in our network for our Commercial, Individual, and Medicaid members. Our goal in these negotiations has been to keep healthcare costs for our members low while being fair to providers.
Our members will be able to continue using Patient First centers, and we will continue to help pay for the cost of their visits with them. This agreement was reached prior to members being notified by us of the possible termination.
Patient First is now in-network for all Optima Health business lines; in addition to remaining in-network for Commercial, Individual and Medicaid members, Patient First will also be part of the Medicare network effective April 1, 2021.
