COVID-19 Aid to Continue Through August 31
We at Optima Health understand how concerning the COVID-19 pandemic is for our members. As we continue to monitor its impact on the United States and Virginia, we remain committed to assisting our members. Therefore, Optima Health will continue to waive a variety of cost-shares for our members through August 31.
Optima Health will continue to waive the following cost-shares for our members through August 31:
- all telehealth visits, including telephone only, with any in-network care provider*
- any necessary in-network or emergent out-of-network treatment of COVID-19*
Diagnostic testing coverage is available consistent within the terms of each group’s health benefits plan. Optima Health will waive all covered out-of-pocket member costs associated with COVID-19 diagnostic testing as deemed appropriate by the ordering provider through the duration of the public health emergency. Please note that any excluded services (like testing required for employment) remain not covered.
