Providers who use Provider Connection to conduct health plan transactions with Optima Health will notice a new look and feel.
The Provider Connection screens will adopt the same look and feel as the web pages on www.optimahealth.com. Noticeable changes are to the colors, fonts and overall layout of the screens that will now more closely resemble the health plan’s Web site, www.optimahealth.com.
Be assured the same functions and transactions you have become accustomed to using are available, in basically the same format, however the presentation will be slightly different.
A few additional enhancements include:
- View Claims Status and View Referral or Authorization Status
The default search is “Search by Provider” with provider-specific criteria. You can change the search to a member-specific criteria with a click to “Search by Member”
- View Referral or Authorization Status
Users can now search by practice only, it is not necessary to input specific provider information. In addition to primary care physicians being able to view authorizations, attending providers can now view their authorizations on Provider Connection.
- All screens
Instead of having to click on a “Clear Form” button, users can simply click in another field to clear search criteria.
