Asthma Can be Controlled
Asthma is an ongoing disease of the airways in the lungs. Asthma can't be cured, but it can be controlled.
The information found on this page is intended to help persons with asthma, or their family members, keep their asthma under control.
Get started by taking the Asthma Control TestTM*
Optima Health’s Asthma Program provides you with information to help keep you, or your child’s, asthma under the best possible control. The program encourages members to work with their physician to develop and stick with a treatment plan to keep their asthma under control.
Any Optima Health Plan member with asthma can participate in the program.
If you would like more information, please call the Member Services telephone number on your Optima Health member card and you will be connected with a case manager who can help answer your questions about asthma.
