Optima Health's 2009 commercial group core benefit changes will take effect with each group's renewal commencing with October 1, 2009 effective dates. These changes reflect our continuing efforts to meet the market's desire for appropriate protection and incentives to manage health at an affordable cost.

Providers, employer groups and members will receive notification of these changes in their newsletters scheduled to be distributed in the coming weeks. In addition, members affected by the infusion and injectable medication change will be contacted directly via letter to provide a detailed explanation of the change.
